Butler picks off Bloom in 50th




Democrats Betsy Butler and Richard Bloom won Tuesday’s primary election for California’s 50th Assembly District in a race that saw the leaders separated by just 102 votes.
The district includes Agoura Hills, Topanga, Malibu, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Bel Air, Beverly Hills, much of Hollywood, Hancock Park, the Pacific Palisades and portions of the Santa Monica Mountains.
