T.O. lawfirm moves to Westlake

Floyd Skeren & Kelly, a workers’ compensation law firm, announced it will open a new headquarters in Westlake Village.

The firm said the office on Cedar Valley Drive in Westlake represents a merging of its Culver City office and its current headquarters on Moody Court in Thousand Oaks.

The move will be made in August when renovation at the Westlake site is complete.

“The Westlake office offers a unique opportunity to consolidate and strengthen our legal team by gathering the firm’s multiplicity of skills, talents and experience under a single roof,” partner Tom Skeren said in a memo to employees.

The 25-year-old law firm has more than 200 employees and also operates an administrative office in Calabasas.

Gunther will market Fairway Physicians Insurance Company RRG, which provides medical professional liability coverage to physicians, medical groups and hospitals nationwide.

Gunther brings 20 years of experience in the insurance industry to her new employer.

Volunteers manned the checkin station and also took part in the race through Westlake Village.

The networking group, formed last year, consists of local professionals and business owners from a variety of industries, including finance, real estate and consulting. Members meet weekly to discuss pertinent topics, expand their professional networks, and offer business referrals.
