BuFest music fete uses green ideas

Two-day celebration scheduled at Paramount Ranch



The BuFest Music Festival will be from noon to 9 p.m. Sat. and Sun., May 30 and 31 at the Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills.

The event will showcase more than 70 acts on four stages, including musical groups like Reel Big Fish, Lifehouse, Eve 6 and Unwritten Law.

The festival is also a green event, supporting the ideals of the Green Living Expo and dedicated to having absolutely zero impact on the environment.

BuFest will only use biodegradable and recycled supplies, and technologically advanced generators and materials designed to ensure the lowest possible carbon output.

PickupPals will encourage ride sharing to the event.

BuFest also supports the Cancer Hope Foundation and Camp Keepsake, a free camp retreat for adult cancer patients and survivors.

Advance tickets are $60 for both days and $45 for one day.
