Food bank and blood drive

Manna Conejo Valley Food Bank is partnering with La Reina High School and Vitalant to hold a community-wide food donation and blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., July 11 at La Reina High School, 106 W. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Community members can bring their donations to the drive-through, no-contact drop off.

Manna will accept all non-perishable food items and other important items that are in demand. For a list of the top 10 needed items, visit mannaconejo.org.

Appointments are requested for the blood drive and can be made at blood4life.com using the sponsor code 8181.

All social distancing and safety protocols will be followed for the blood drive.

The Manna food bank has been serving the residents of the Conejo Valley since 1971 and is still open to the community through the pandemic.

In the last few months, the food bank has seen had 93 new households and 305 new individuals visit the pantry in addition to those who were already in need.


Pop-up pantry

A new non-contact, drive-thru pop-up food pantry is available for anyone in the community in need of food.

The pantry is open from 10 a.m. to noon every Saturday at the St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church parking lot, 155 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.
