The Conejo Valley Amateur Radio Club will offer the following FCC licensing classes in the community room of the East County Sheriff’s Station, 2101 E. Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks.
FCC General Amateur Radio License class from 8 a.m. to noon starting Sat., Sept. 15. For individuals wanting to upgrade their operating privileges. Classes will run five consecutive Saturdays.
FCC Technician Amateur Radio License class from 1 to 5 p.m. beginning Sat., Sept. 11. An entry-level license for newcomers. Runs four consecutive Saturdays.

The Conejo Valley Cloggers will offer a nine-week session of clogging classes starting Thurs., Sept. 6 from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. at the Old Meadows Center, 1600 Marview Drive, Thousand Oaks.
All ages from young adults to seniors are welcome. No partners are required. Attendees should wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes or tap shoes.
The cost is $48 for the nine-week program. New students may begin in the first and second weeks only.

A mahjong class for beginners takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center, 29900 Ladyface Court, Agoura Hills.
Attendees can learn the rules and strategies of playing mahjong. Sets, the mahjong cards and snacks will be provided.

Assistance League Conejo Valley will present Fall Days at the Thrift Shop, 2853 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.
Inventory is changing with the season. Halloween costumes and decorations are available.
The store is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and until 7 p.m. Thursdays.
