Ladyface Ale Companie, the Conejo Valley’s first craft brewery and gastropub, celebrates its fifth anniversary in Agoura Hills Jan. 26 to 31 with a theme of “putting down roots” in the community.
Founded by residents at the foot of Ladyface Mountain, the Ladyface brew pub has been serving locally hand-crafted beer and food since 2009.
“We’ve worked hard to develop a craft beer culture in Los Angeles and to bring a quality dining experience to the area,” said co-founder and restaurant general manager Cyrena Nouzille.
For the weeklong celebration, Ladyface is releasing a special oak barrel-aged beer. Brewmaster David Griffiths describes his La Dame du Bois as a cellar-blended Belgian dark strong ale, aged for 12 months in California red wine barrels. Events also will include an anniversary glassware release, a brewmaster’s dinner, and live music Thursday through Saturday. Visit LadyfaceAle.com for details.
