Agoura Hills glad to get rid of old concrete lining at Medea Creek

TIME TO GO—The City of Agoura Hills received a grant from Los Angeles County to tear up the aging concrete containing Medea Creek near Chumash Park and replace it with a natural riparian habitat.
The City of Agoura Hills wants to break up a portion of the concrete flood channel containing Medea Creek and restore the water course to its natural condition.
The office of Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky gave the city $165,000 to begin the restoration project.
