Bozajian moves up at League



Calabasas City Councilmember James Bozajian has been named the secretary/ treasurer on the board of directors of the Los Angeles County Division of the League of California Cities.

Bozajian’s appointment took place in a ceremony at the league division’s annual banquet Aug. 1 in Bellflower.

In 2020 he will be named vice president of the organization, and in 2021 will assume the role of president.

The position can only be held by an elected municipal official in Los Angeles County, typically a City Council member or mayor.

“I am honored to accept this appointment to help advance issues of importance to cities throughout Los Angeles County,” Bozajian said.

Founded in 1898, The League of California Cities is a statewide advocacy and educational organization for all California municipalities.
