The Conejo Valley Unified School District is seeking qualified, interested community members to serve on the Independent Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee for the implementation of the district’s Measure I school facilities bond program.

The bond passed in November 2014 with a voter approval of 65 percent, above the supermajority requirement of 55 percent.
Responsibilities of the committee include keeping informed about the expenditure of Measure I bond proceeds, reviewing expenditure reports and presenting an annual written report to the school board. The Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee meets about four times a year, with meetings typically taking place in the afternoon.
Each committee member serves a two-year term, commencing at the date of appointment by the school board.
