Barn cat program helps feral problem




Ventura County Animal Services is launching a program that will bring the shelter one step closer to becoming a “no-kill” facility.
Donna Gillesby, interim VCAS director, told the Acorn in January that in addition to its new foster program, the shelter was creating a barn cat program to further its mission to find every animal a home.
