Barbara Murphy, an outspoken anti-tax crusader who advocated against what she believed to be excessive local government taxation and spending, died on March 31 after a six-month battle with cancer. She was 64.
Hank Murphy, Barbara’s husband of 33 years, said doctors first thought his wife had sprained her right shoulder.
