The Calabasas Library will offer the following free programs and events during April at 200 Civic Center Way.

The library will be closed Sun., April 16 and tutoring programs will be cancelled Tues. and Thurs., April 11 and 13.

Sat., April 1, kindergartners through third-graders can read to Pet Partners therapy dogs. Reservations will begin at 11 a.m.

Wed., April 5 at 4 p.m., the Book Worm Book Club will restart for fourth- through sixth-graders. Wendy Mass will head the group in discussing 11 birthdays. Treats and crafts will be provided.

Thurs., April 6 and 20 at noon, Yoga and You will take place. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat or a large towel.

Thurs., April 13 at 6 p.m., the 2nd Thursday book club for adults will meet. Membership is free; however, a library card is required. For more information, including the book title, email crussom@cityofcalabasas.com.

Wed., April 19, the Wednesday Morning Book Club will meet at 11 a.m. and Film Fanatics will meet at 6 p.m. Film patrons may bring dinner. Call the library for the book title and email ksteward@cityofcalabasas.com for the film title.

Sat., April 22 at 3:30 p.m., the Writers’ Corner Club for fourth- through eighth-graders will meet. No experience in creative writing is necessary.

Wed., April 26 at 1 p.m., patrons can learn about e-books and other digital products available at the library. Staff will help patrons with their devices, which they should bring.

Thurs., April 27 at 6 p.m., the Calabasas-Las Virgenes Historical Society offers lectures by authors, researchers, historians or historical society members. Socializing will start at 5:30 p.m.
