The Calabasas Library will present the following free events in April at 200 Civic Center Way.

The library will be closed for Easter Sunday, April 9.

•The Writers’ Club for students in grades three through seven will be at 3:30 p.m. Sat., April 1 in person on the outside patio. Look for signs outside the library.

The club is run by high school students. No experience in creative writing is necessary; the club is for fun. To participate, parents/ guardians need to send their child’s name, school and grade to Karilyn Steward at ksteward@calabasaslibrary.org.

•The in-person Spring Pumpkin Patch Story Time for preschoolers ages 3 to 5 will be 1:30 p.m. Tues., April 18 through May 16.

Lap Sit for ages up to 24 months is 10:30 a.m. Thurs., April 20 through May 18.

Toddler story time for ages 2 to 4 will be at 11 a.m., also on Thursdays.

Story times will be held on the outside patio. Go to the front of the library and follow signs.

•Study Buddies tutoring for students will be held by appointment Tues., April 11 and 25 on Zoom. Times are available every half-hour from 4 to 5 p.m. Tutoring is done by Advanced Placement and honors high school students. Sign-up is required through the library website. •The Tuesday Evening Book Club for adults will be at 5:30 p.m. April 18 in person at the library. For more information and the title of the book, email Barbara Lockwood at blockwood@calabasaslibrary.org.
