The Calabasas Library will offer the following free programs in September at 200 Civic Center Way.
The library will be closed Sat. and Sun., Sept. 1 and 2 for the Labor Day holiday and will close at 5 p.m. Thurs., Sept. 20 for the State of the City address.

Wed., Sept. 5, Pumpkin Patch Baby story time will restart at 11 a.m.
Also Wed., Sept. 5, the Friends of the Calabasas Library will meet at 6:30 p.m. The volunteers raise funds and sponsor programs to enhance library service. All are welcome.
Thurs., Sept. 6 and 27, Yoga and You will take place at noon. Bring a yoga mat or large towel.
*Sat., Sept. 8, kids in grades K-3 can read to therapy dogs trained through Pet Partners. Reservations will begin at 11 a.m.; program runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Thurs., Sept. 13 at noon, patrons can learn about e-books and other digital products available at the library. Attendees should bring their devices.
Also on Sept. 13, the 2nd Thursday book club for adults will meet at 6 p.m. A library card is required to participate.

Sat., Sept. 15 and 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. Viewpoint AP and Honors high school students tutor elementary school children in the Love to Learn Tutoring Program.
Also on Sept. 15, the Writers’ Corner Club for third- through seventh-graders will meet at 3:30 p.m. No creative writing experience necessary.
Wed., Sept. 19 at 11 a.m., the Wednesday Morning Book Club will meet.
Tues., Sept. 25, Study Buddies will run most Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Elementary and middle school students get homework help.
