Consider the trees
I was recently hired to inspect a group of trees outside a local home. As soon as I drove up to the house, I noticed that the front yard, from the perspective of grass, shrubs and groundcover, looked really nice. But the six mature trees scattered around were another matter: They were all dead.
As I was getting out of my truck, the first thing I asked myself was, “Why do the trees look so bad when everything else in the yard looks so good and healthy?”
