Artist Don Fay to show his work




The Camarillo Art Center will open its fall series of demonstrations by hosting local artist Don Fay from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wed., Sept. 21 at the center, 3150 Ponderosa Drive.

Admission is free to members of the center and $5 for guests.

Fay will be demonstrating the versatility of compressed charcoal/ conte crayon.

Fay graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts, attended the Art Center College of Design and later studied with artists Robert E. Wood and Sergei Bonart.

After a career as illustrator, designer and art director, Fay now paints and teaches. He is an award-winning artist in both the commercial and fine art fields and has completed several corporate murals. He conducts an annual seminar at Yosemite.

He is a member of the National Watercolor Society, an artist member of the California Art Club, and a signature member of the Gold Coast Watercolor Society.

Refreshments will be served following the presentation and a piece of work produced by Fay will be raffled off.
