Cal Lutheran University presents the following virtual events.

Kingsmen Shakespeare Company Virtual Summer Education Programs through Aug. 7.

The company moved its 33th annual summer workshops online for 2020.

Workshops offered for children and teens are: Groundlings Camp, Beginning Shakespeare, Advanced Shakespeare, Beginning Acting and Theatre Making, and Advanced Acting and Theatre Making. The classes meet daily for an hour or two over two or three weeks.

The new adult classes are The Globe Package and The Intensive Globe Package featuring a mix of virtual sessions providing prerecorded instruction, interactive live workshops and personal monologue coaching.

Meleko Mokgosi: Acts of Resistance” virtual exhibition through Sept. 2.

Mokgosi’s paintings confront the politics and histories of representation.

Born in Botswana, Mokgosi is an artist, assistant professor of practice at New York University and co-director of the Interdisciplinary Art and Theory Program.

Documenting History Through Art: The Work of David Labkovski” virtual exhibition through Sept. 2.

He examines his experiences of World War II, the Holocaust and the aftermath in autobiographical drawings and paintings.

Senior Art Exhibit: “Passionate Perspectives” virtual exhibit through Oct. 31.

The exhibit is a collection of artwork from the CLU Art Department’s senior class. This virtual exhibit explores each artist’s passion for environmental, political, cultural or emotional subject matter.

The featured artists are Karlie Anderson, Kori Hess, Bailey Huerta, Dani Iribe, Sebastian Montoya, Thor Nualsumlee, Kaylee Reel, Mona Saii, Natalie Tseng and Jessi van der Laan.

Thingamajig VI: A Printmaking Exploration” virtual exhibit through Oct. 31.

The exhibit features student printmaking from beginning and advanced classes in a wide exploration of content and composition.

The virtual exhibition includes monoprints, intaglio, drypoint, solar plate production, lino and woodcut relief prints.

Seniors Thor Nualsumlee, Mona Saii and Jessica van der Laan curated the show.
