The California Museum of Art Thousand Oaks, a nonprofit organization, has selected new officers for its 2016-17 board of directors, as follows:
•Tony Principe, chair.
Principe is a principal and president of Westcord Commercial RealEstate Services and co-managing partner of TR Funding LLC.
He has been active with Rotary Club International, American Heart Association, Braille Institute, Special Olympics Los Angeles and the Optimist Club of the Conejo Valley.
Principe takes over the chairmanship from Richard T. Johnson, a founder and board member since the museum’s inception in 2008. Johnson will continue to serve on the board.
•Elliot Blinder, secretary. He is the CEO of Westlake Village Gallery LLC and a Realtor with Westcord Commercial.
•Leonard “Len” M. Linton, treasurer.
He is CFO of ViaSource Solutions in Thousand Oaks.
Linton has served on boards and in officer positions with the New West Symphony, Wellness Community and Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise.
•Margaret Fieweger, vice chair.
She is an emerita administrator with Cal State Northridge. She also held department chair, dean and associate academic vice president positions with Cal State Los Angeles.
A trustee of the Conejo/ Las Virgenes Future Foundation since 1995, she co-chaired Senior Congresses and chaired the Task Force on Housing the Visual Arts, which became the California Museum of Art Thousand Oaks.
Fieweger has also served on the board of directors of Hospice of Conejo.
