Argument fueled by caffeine

We are completely opposed to the proposed drive-thru at the Agoura Hills Starbucks on Kanan Road, which will destroy three large heritage valley oak trees and two magnificent old sycamore trees.

Doesn’t the city of Agoura Hills have an oak tree ordinance to protect and preserve them?

Why would any of Agoura’s oaks ever be allowed to be destroyed? After all, the city emblem is represented by an oak leaf.

Why would a project ever be approved that will exacerbate the already horrific traffic on Kanan?

The traffic nightmare will increase as people are slowing down to turn into the proposed driveway, thus further expanding the already intolerable congestion.

Join us in emailing the city clerk at krodriques@ci.agourahills.ca.us and identify clearly that your email is to the Agoura Hills Planning Commission about your opposition to the proposed drive-thru at Starbucks on Kanan.
