City undaunted by loss of redevelopment


Despite pressure from day-today expenses and a redevelopment fund that has dried up, the City of Agoura Hills will push ahead with several improvement projects planned for the area.
The city, like many municipalities in California, operated a redevelopment agency that relied on state funding, but in February 2012, all RDAs in the state were eliminated.
Agoura Hills lost about $500,000 a year when the RDAs wer e stopped.
