New cougar cubs found in mountains could be product of inbreeding

National Park Service researchers recently discovered a litter of four mountain lion kittens—two males and two females— in a remote area of the Santa Monica Mountains. The 4-week-old kittens are being called P-70, P-71, P-72 and P-73.
