Agoura tightens landscaping rules for new development




The continued drought has prompted the City of Agoura Hills to amend its landscaping and irrigation code for new developments.
At a July 8 council meeting, officials adopted a municipal code that requires new residential properties using potable water for outside irrigation to use drip or microspray irrigation systems.
Three of the five council members—Bill Koehler, Harry Schwarz and Mayor Illece Buckley Weber—presided over the meeting. Councilmembers Denis Weber and John Edelston were absent....
