Agoura Hills woman wins in Boys & Girls Club raffle





The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme pulled the second round of early bird tickets Sept. 16, and Agoura Hills resident Terry Wong won $1,000 in the House of Ten Thou- sand Dreams Home Raffle, which will end Nov. 4.

Wong is still entered to win $10,000 in prizes for the special bonus drawing in October, as well as the grand prize of a brand-new waterfront home at Channel Is- lands Harbor or $1 million in cash. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme is joining with home builder D.R. Horton to offer the raffle. A total of 18,000 tickets will be sold. Sec- ond prize is a 2007 Fat Boy Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Pro- ceeds will help the club expand its services with a goal of eventually serving 10,000 youth. It now serves 6,700. The House of Ten Thousand Dreams is a two-story, 3,195- square-foot, single-family home under construction in the gated Port Province region of the Seabridge harbor community, and includes a 35-foot boat dock. The $1.3 million home includes three bedrooms, a loft, three bathrooms and a three-car garage.
