Agoura Hills talking budget




Revenue for the City of Agoura Hills will continue to climb due to an improved economy that generates sales tax, City Manager Greg Ramirez said during a recent budget workshop. The city receives about $1.5 million each year in sales, property and other taxes.
But the city will face additional expenses in the coming year, including several storm water projects expected to cost $150,000. The city is required to install catch basins to keep pollution from entering the creek and ocean.
