Agoura Hills sues to stop pot deliveries in town

City fears loss of local control


Agoura Hills joined 24 other California cities in a lawsuit last week that seeks to reaffirm local control over a burgeoning cannabis business that is trying push the boundaries of where pot can and cannot be sold.

Attorneys from the Sacramento firm of Churchwell White LLP filed the suit in Fresno Superior Court against the California Bureau of Cannabis Control, a state agency working to legalize cannabis deliveries, even in communities that have passed laws against commercial cannabis.
