A domestic dispute ended Saturday in Agoura Hills with two people shot dead.

The deceased are Sherry Thomas, 49, and John Mann, 57, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office.

A neighbor who knew the couple told The Acorn that Mann and Thomas were in a relationship at one point.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which is investigating the case, has released only limited details, saying that a gun was recovered at the scene and that there are no outstanding suspects, suggesting a murder-suicide situation.

Deputies responding to a call for a welfare check entered a townhome in the 5200 block of Colodny Drive around 10:50 a.m. Sat., July 18 to find a man and woman dead from gunshot wounds, police said.

The call came from a neighbor.

Thomas, a mother of two, was a personal stylist, entrepreneur and business owner who was well-known in the Conejo Valley.

She was the founder of Blush Boutique, opening her first store in Encino in 2006, her second in Calabasas in 2009 and her third in Thousand Oaks in 2015, according to online articles.

According to a 2013 article in The Acorn, Thomas wanted to create a shop with a relaxed and stylish atmosphere. Her concept was to gather moderately-priced clothing and accessories reflecting the contemporary, sophisticated yet comfortable chic elegance of Los Angeles.

Thomas launched a website, shopmyblush.com, where she provided tutorials and fashion tips. She was a regular volunteer at charitable events and donor to local causes like schools and nonprofits.
