Agoura Hills extends cell tower moratorium

City wants further studies

A temporary moratorium on cellphone antennas in the city of Agoura Hills has been extended by the City Council for another 10 months.

The decision to prohibit new wireless facilities in the city until September 2010 came after a prolonged public hearing with TMobile and a denial of the company’s request to erect an antenna on the campus of Lindero Canyon Middle School.
