An April 23 car burglary at a residence on Colodny Drive resulted in $1,000 damage to the vehicle and the theft of $850 in tools. Also on April 23, a burglar entered the garage of a Colodny Drive home and stole $250 in currency and a $150 cell phone. The items were taken from a Ford Explorer.

Vandals smashed a window and damaged furniture April 22 at a retail store in the 28800 block of Agoura Road. Damage from the incident was estimated at $1,700.

An employee at a business in the 30500 block of Agoura Road told deputies that somebody stole his $400 Palm Pilot while he was at work on April 22. The employee said the theft occurred when he was away from his desk taking a lunch break.

A homeowner on Provident Road reported $500 in damage to his Volkswagen automobile on April 21. Vandals caused $500 in damage to both side windows, but no items were reported missing. The car had been parked overnight in the driveway.

Vandals broke a window and entered a church in the 30600 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard April 19. A church spokesperson said $78 was stolen from a cash box.

Calabasas

Burglars entered a garage at a home on Hot Springs Place on April 21 and stole a $100 Nokia cell phone from inside a Honda Civic. The homeowner also reported $50 in lawn furniture was missing.

The owner of a 2001 Porsche convertible told deputies that somebody stole a $400 cell phone from inside his car on April 20. The car was parked at the Calabasas Commons shopping center with both doors locked—but the top was down.

A burglar broke into the garage of a home on Cottonwood Grove Trail on April 21 and stole a $2,000 Toshiba laptop computer and $3,000 worth of Ping golf clubs a Jeep Cherokee.

Between 7 p.m. April 22 and 8 a.m. April 23 in the 3100 block of Willow Lane, the total damages were $750 when a store window was shattered.

Someone stole $415 from a cash register between 1:40 p.m. April 20 and 3:55 p.m. April 25 at K-mart in the 300 block of Hampshire Road.

A cassette recorder, cash and other items were stolen between 9 p.m. April 22 and 6 p.m. April 23 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road. The total loss was $90.

At 11:25 p.m. April 25 on the northbound side of Westlake Boulevard, someone was cited for drunk driving.
