A white male, 30-40, (5-10, 230+) with blond hair ran from the location after a witness observed him acting suspiciously outside an open window of a restaurant/bar in the 30300 block of Canwood Street at 11:40 p.m. April 12. Another male confronted the subject after a burglar alarm had gone off at about the same time. Several pieces of evidence were collected by investigating deputies, but a search for the suspect wasn’t successful.

Between 11 p.m. April 7 and 8 a.m. April 8 in the 30300 block of Canwood Street, a business window and frame had $150 damage and a safe and cash were stolen ($1,400 loss).

In an apartment complex parking lot in the 30800 block of Agoura Road between 7:20 and 9:05 p.m. April 8, an SUV window was smashed and a bag containing cosmetics and a hair dryer was stolen. Total loss: $550. Between 9 and 10 p.m. at the same location the same evening, an attaché case and cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle (an additional loss of $100).

The back window of an Acura was smashed ($300 damage) the night of April 12 on Eagleton Street.

Calabasas

Two windows and magazine racks had $5,150 in damages after a pickup truck was rammed into a convenience store. An automatic teller machine valued at $6,000 and an undetermined amount of cash were stolen between 3:45 and 3:50 a.m. April 14. The pickup had been stolen from somewhere in L.A. and its motor was still running when deputies arrived, but the suspect(s) were gone.

A vehicle had $1,000 in damages after it was vandalized (all four tires slashed and the windshield shattered) the night of April 8 in the 4600 block of Park Adelphia.

The loss was $895 after a bike and bicycle lock and chain were stolen from a storage area in the 26600 block of W. Agoura Road between April 3 and 15.

The loss was $170 after a car’s console was damaged and its in-dash stereo was stolen on April 8 or 9 on Carsamba Drive.

Hidden Hills

Housekeepers are possible suspects in the theft of two watches (one a Rolex, the other Cartier). The items—valued at $21,300—were stolen from a Jim Bridger home between March 28 and April 8.

A U.S. flag valued at $50 was stolen from in front of a Round Meadow home on April 8 or 9.

Westlake/T.O.

The total loss was $6,555 when someone broke into a home through its doggy door and stole 25 DVDs, a two video game units and several video games between 9 a.m. and 7:12 p.m. April 15 in the 4500 block Rayburn Street. The damages were $50.

Between 8:30 a.m. and 6:10 p.m. April 17 in the first block of Baxter Way, the total loss was $186 when someone broke into a vehicle and stole a cell phone, a 60-piece tool set and a CD case.

At 7:45 p.m. April 19 in the 1400 block of White Hall Street, someone was cited for driving under the influence.

Westlake Village

The rear window of a vehicle in the 31200 block of La Baya was smashed ($300 damage) and $900 worth of tools was stolen the night of April 10.

While the owner was videotaping a wedding at a business in the 31900 block of Agoura Road between 4:30 and 5 p.m. April 12, lighting and audio and video equipment valued at $860 were stolen.
