A window to three business offices had $200 damage and $28,460 worth of computer equipment was stolen after a burglary between 2 and 11:30 a.m. May 31 in the 28000 block of Dorothy Drive. A possible suspect had been observed on May 27 asking questions, looking around and acting suspicious (possibly "casing" the business for a later break-in). He was described as 20-25 with a medium build, 5-7 or 5-8, with short dark hair. He spoke with a slight accent and was possibly Armenian, Persian or Spanish.

Males who were attending a party are possible suspects after a bathroom, a vehicle, a sofa and a laptop computer were vandalized ($8,100 damages) and a video camera, a safe and a jar of coins were stolen (an additional loss of $450). The theft and vandalism occurred between 9 and 11:30 p.m. May 30 in the 30000 block of Trailcreek Lane.

In a hotel parking lot the night of June 1 in the 30200 block of Agoura Road, somebody damaged a pickup window ($150 loss) and stole a laptop computer valued at $4,400.

A car was burglarized at a hotel parking lot in the 30200 block of Agoura Road between 12:30 and 7:30 a.m. June 2. The loss (including damage to a window) was $2,350. Computer equipment had been stolen.

Neon lights to a business had $1,000 damage after vandal(s) smashed it on May 28 or 29 in the 29800 block of Agoura Road. The damaged bulbs left the remaining ones spelling an obscenity when they were lit.

A male with dark hair and wearing a T-shirt was observed trying to break into a vehicle the night of June 3. Between 8:45 p.m. and 2:40 a.m. the same night, another vehicle in the same vicinity (5800 block of Kanan Road) was targeted by burglar(s) who smashed a window and stole jewelry. Total loss: $365.

A pickup window was shattered ($200 damage) and $25 cash was stolen at 1 a.m. May 28 in the 5200 block of Colodny Drive. A tool box was also stolen around the same time from another vehicle at the same apartment complex.

Calabasas


A garage door had $300 damage and a Porsche and cell phone were stolen ($70,299 loss) after a residential burglary between May 28 and June 1 in the 4000 block of Schuylkill Drive.

Somebody smashed an SUV window ($200 damage) and stole a laptop computer, a cell phone and digital camera. The $2,700 total loss occurred the night of May 31 in the 23600 block of Park Capri.

A laptop computer valued at $2,000 was stolen from a business office the night of May 25 in the 24000 block of Park Sorrento. A wallet and cell phone were stolen (probably the same night) from an adjacent cubicle.

A vehicle door had $200 damage in the 23400 block of Park Sorrento and a purse, cash and cell phone were stolen ($1,200 loss) between 10:25 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. June 3.

In the 4500 block of Park Entrada, somebody stole $300 cash and $24 worth of postage stamps from a vehicle (with no signs of forced entry) between noon and 1:30 p.m. June 2.

At 9 p.m. May 19 in the 26300 block of W. Plata Lane, somebody vandalized a home’s kitchen window ($100 damage).

Someone broke in to the business ($200 damages) and stole a laptop computer, a digital camera and a flat screen monitor (an additional loss of $4,010) between 5:30 p.m. June 2 and 8 a.m. June 3 in the 2800 block of Townsgate Road.

Westlake Village


A man who lives on Calaise Court reported suspicious activity at this home at 2:05 a.m. June 2. The subject suspects that a worker or workers with a valet parking service in the San Fernando Valley had a duplicate house key made and used vehicle registration documents to determine where he lives. Nothing was stolen.
