Agoura baseball team regroups after Simi loss

Special to The Acorn

After the Agoura baseball team lost to Simi Valley, 10-7, for their first loss of the season, the Chargers realized that if they didn’t come to play and the other team did, they would take a loss.
In that defeat against Simi, junior catcher Adam Schneider and senior outfielder Matt Lawyer homered and J.T. Trelatsky doubled, but six Pioneers scored during the sixth inning to make the difference.
"We fell apart mentally," said senior outfielder Brian Grant.
