Acorn’s new partner brings commitment to the community

Thumbing through emails over the past week, the editors of the five Acorn newspapers couldn’t help but be impressed by the outpouring of community support following the Sept. 7 announcement that Times Media Group had taken ownership of the publications, effective immediately.
“I hope you’ll continue to provide your excellent coverage of the community,” writes one longtime reader. “The Acorns are a special group of newspapers, and I am hopeful that quality will remain under the new ownership.”
