Acorn writers, look out: Third-graders want your jobs



COMMUNITY NEWS FROM A YOUNG PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW-Yerba Buena Elementary School third-grade teacher Arlene Wilkoff holds up a copy of the Little Acorn newspaper created by her students. A portion of the school's third-grade social studies curriculum teaches about the children's hometowns. Just like we do at The Acorn, students wrote stories, conducted interviews and assembled their own newspaper about local news.
