You may love them or hate them.
But what we’ve learned over decades with our community newspaper is everybody reads them.
Many Acorn critics point to the Letters section as proof positive that the paper carries a bias—be it left or right—and say we pick and choose submissions based on our political leaning. But the criticism is unfounded since it has been our long-standing policy to publish all the letters we receive.
