A vote for Nader

One has to marvel at the audacity of the U.S. government.

We claim to be the arbiters of democracy the world over, monitoring elections in countries that cannot be trusted to conduct fair elections. How ’bout right here in the ol’ USA?

We have a system that is such a duopoly that other, legitimate candidates are not given access to the public to state their ideas, their vision of the future. The media daily restricts its coverage of any candidate who doesn’t have a chance of winning.

What a horse race!

But this is our democracy. We have a right to hear all points of view and decide for ourselves who we trust with our nation’s future, who speaks our truth. Equal access is essential in a fair democracy. Election abuse occurs in countries all over the world and the U.S. calls these elections unfair. It’s happening in the Ivory Coast in Africa. It happened in Yugoslavia, a U.S. champion.

And it’s happening right here, right now. How can we any longer accept what the Democrats, Republicans and the mass media are feeding us? I have been a Democrat my entire life, and frankly, I’m so fed up with it, I couldn’t bear to cast my vote for a party that doesn’t stand for anything. I’ve seen Republicans more Democrat than Democrats.

We need third parties to keep a watch on these guys.

Consider giving your vote to Ralph Nader, a true American who speaks for all people. He has proven his loyalty and patriotism to this country, not by fighting in wars on the battlefield, but by making our world safer and for standing up for human rights, against great odds.

The Republocrats literally pushed him out of the corporate sponsored debates and the media spotlight, that they control. Still, he has gained an immense following, accepting money only from individual contributors. He has waged a strong and dedicated campaign with real talk of issues.

Show Bore and Shrub on Election Day that the lesser of two evils is no longer an acceptable alternative. Maybe in the future we can vote for None of the Above and send them a real message.
