On Mon., July 8 at about 8:45 a.m., Agoura Hills lost a beautiful tree, an old neighbor, living in Reyes Adobe Park near the sidewalk along Rainbow Crest Drive.
It was a large tree with its boughs leaning toward the street. It was home to many tree squirrel families, now homeless.
What was its crime? Its undoing?
Yes, it was old and beginning to lean, as many of us are, but perhaps it could have been salvaged in some way.
The cutting down began about 8:45 a.m. and about 9:15 a.m. it was complet...
