On Sat., Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m., all seemed quiet as usual in the Morrison Ranch area of Agoura Hills.
Nestled in the middle of the upscale housing development sits a typical suburban house on Middlecrest, just off Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
The Paul family was indoors at the time when their Bichon Frisee dog named Daisey spread her nine-pound body out on the backyard to take a nap.
"She didn’t have a chance," said Amy Paul, owner of the dog.
