MICHAEL COONS/The Acorn JEWISH NEW YEAR-Fifth-grader Jonathan Berger, 10, gives it his all while blowing a Shofar during "The Traveling Shofar Factory" at Conejo Jewish Day School in Agoura Hills on Friday. Students in all grades learned about the ram's horn and its significance to the High Holidays. Fifth-graders had an opportunity to create their own Shofars. Rosh Hashanah begins tomorrow.  |
