JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers PLAYOFF RUN ENDS—Westlake’s Chris Vite leaves his feet to win a ball during the Warriors’ 1-0 victory over Woodbridge in the CIF-SS Division II quarterfinals last Friday at WHS. On Tuesday, Westlake lost to Loyola, 2-1, in the semifinals. Westlake finished the season 18-3-4, having won its second straight Marmonte League championship.  |
