A thief stole a $ 50 wallet containing bank cards from a car parked on Agoura Road June 30 and later used the stolen cards to make fraudulent purchases. The incident occurred June 30.

A 43-year-old man was arrested for transporting a controlled substance for sale in the 30000 block of Mulholland Highway June 28.

Someone stole a bag containing $50 worth of tools, as well as a cooler, a $50 backpack and four pairs of sunglasses valued at $20 from an unlocked car parked in the 28900 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard June 26.

A vandal with a rock smashed the rear window of a car near Trader Joe’s in the 28900 block of Canwood Street June 22. The value of the loss was $250.

Calabasas

A burglar caused $300 damage to break into a car and steal a registration card. The incident occurred on Mulholland Highway July 2.

A $50 iPod, $5 in cash and a car registration were stolen from a car parked on Clover Trail July 1.

A $50 garage opener was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked on Town Crier Road June 30.

A person on Schuylkill Drive reported that someone ransacked through her car and she found a phone and two gift cards that do not belong to her. The incident occurred June 29.

A thief stole a $500 surfboard from the bed of a truck parked on Park Cordero June 25.

A thief took a $ 10 bronze medallion from a car parked on Alizia Canyon Drive June 26.

A burglar stole a $1,000 photo camera, a $400 laptop computer, a $350 iPad and two gaming consoles worth $750 from a home on De Kalb Drive June 22. The person shattered a sliding glass door to get in. The incident occurred between 10 a.m. and noon while the resident was running errands. A jewelry box was also missing, but the resident wasn’t sure what was inside when the report was filed.

A burglar stole a $250 backpack containing various papers and caused $ 1,000 in damage shattering three windows of a car parked near the Calabasas Library in the 200 block of Civic Center Way June 22.

A $900 Eastman violin was stolen from a car parked on Las Virgenes Road June 21.

A case of identity theft was reported in the 600 block of Lindero Canyon Road June 30.

An assault on a person was reported at the Doubletree Trailhead June 28.

Westlake Village

A customer at Panera Bread reported that a thief stole a $125 purse containing bank and credit cards. The incident occurred in the 5700 block of Lindero Canyon Road June 23.

A burglar stole two Fender guitars, a bass amplifier, two studio speakers and other goods altogether worth more than $7,000 from a storage unit in the 5700 block of Corsa Avenue. The theft occurred between January and June 23.
