Calabasas student heads to West Point

DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY—Eric Moraly has received an appointment to the Class of 2021 at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. In June, Eric is scheduled to graduate from the Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, Calf., where he was an officer in the Battalion Command and the captain of the school’s cross country team. Eric and his fellow plebes (first-year cadets) will report to West Point to begin orientation July 3. He is the son of Roy and Dana Moraly of Calabasas. West Point was founded in 1802 at the nation’s first college of engineering. Graduates go on to serve as officers in the United States Army.
