Exhibit features Picasso, Warhol

CLASSICS—The William Rolland Gallery of Fine Art at Cal Lutheran University hosts a free exhibit of works by the masters through Nov. 9. The William Rolland Gallery of Fine Art at California Lutheran University will present a free exhibit with art by masters through Sept. 28, with an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Sat., July 20.

The free exhibit, titled “Resonating Images II,” will feature works by Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, David Hockney, Chuck Close, and a piece called “La Familia” by Fernando Botero.

Other artists will include: Ernie Barnes, Sandow Birk, Rebecca Campbell, Rafael Coronel, James Doolin, D.J. Hall, Constance Mallinson, Peter Milton, Larry Rivers, Doug Webb, Ruth Weisberg, Robert Williams and Jerome Witkin.

The gallery is on the north side of Olsen Road between Campus Drive and Mountclef Boulevard on the Thousand Oaks campus.

Gallery hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and by appointment.
