Photojournalist’s talk about UFOs is, dare we say, out of this world
Italo-American photographer and journalist Paola Harris will discuss UFO contact cases in Europe at a meeting of Close Encounters Research Organization International at 7:30 p.m., Sat., July 27 at the Thousand Oaks Inn, 75 W. Thousand Oaks Blvd. The doors will open at 7 p.m.
CERO International is the public membership arm of the organization, which is open only to those who have experienced UFO close encounters or abductions.
According to the organization’s website, Harris will discuss “new cases here and in Europe, and the necessity of creating a ‘new world view’ to accommodate advances in quantum theory, paranormal research and the age of social media. She will cover the messages that were given to contactees in Italy and the latest cases which involve human-type aliens.”
Harris is the author of “UFOs: How Does One Speak to a Ball of Light?,” “Exopolitics: Stargate to a New Reality,” “Exopolitics: All the Above” and “Connecting the Dots . . . Making Sense of the UFO Phenomenon.”
Harris has studied extraterrestrial-related phenomena. From 1980 to 1986 she assisted Dr. J. Allen Hynek, who was a scientific adviser to the Air Force’s Project Blue Book which investigated UFO sightings and later founded the Center for UFO Studies.
In 1997, Harris met and interviewed Col. Philip Corso in Roswell, N.M. She was instrumental in having his book, “The Day after Roswell,” translated into Italian.
She has written for many magazines that cover UFOs and paranormal phenomenon.
Harris lives in Rome and Boulder, Colo., and has a master’s degree in education. She teaches history, photojournalism and online classes for Dr. Michael Salla’s Exopolitics Institute.
Tickets for the event are $15 and can be ordered online at www.cerointernational.com.
