Speakers to share ideas, explore connections of the world

Tickets are sold out for the TEDxConejo presentation at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza on Sat., March 31 but a live webcast will be available for viewing at http://tedxconejo.com.

This year ’ s theme is “Together.” Speakers and presenters will share ideas and explore the interconnectedness of the world.

The speakers will include producer, engineer and record artist Alan Parsons; Zoe Weil, author and president of The Institute for Humane Education; Homeboy Industries founder Father Boyle; innovator, inventor, business leader and founder of Thousand Oaks based RKS Design, Riva Sawhney; Oscar- nominated producer, production executive and story expert Lindsay Doran; Marcia Wieder of the Dream University; comedienne Wendy Liebman, medical expert Dr. Irving Loh; and plant-based dietitian Julianna Hever.

Several youth presenters will also be part of the program.

TEDxConejo is produced in association with the Conejo Valley Unifi ed School District. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
