Unity of the Oaks Church invites the community to two workshops on peacemaking strategies for dealing with conflicts that arise in everyday life from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sat., Feb. 4 and 11 at the church, 1414 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Ste. 113, Thousand Oaks.

The workshops will explore spiritual principles and practices and provide games and tools to help participants move from conflict to cooperation, from separation to community and from resistance to synergy.

Dr. Ed Rockey will lead the workshops. He has presented workshops for major business organizations, including Amgen and Litton.

The co- facilitator will be Bobbi Rudin, a behavior therapist and registered yoga teacher.

Admission is on a sliding scale of $20 to $30 per workshop. Refreshments and materials will be provided.
