Spencer Forrest Spencer Cary Forrest, 16, of Oak Park received the Eagle Scout rank in a ceremony on June 25 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Westlake Village.

Spencer completed his Eagle rank in January after finishing a community service project in which he raised nearly $1,000 to finance the construction of six redwood picnic tables and benches for the campus of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Spencer also designed the furniture and supervised the installation.

Spencer will be a junior at Oak Park High School this fall. He became a Cub Scout at age 6. During his 10 years in Scouting he has attended several camporees and earned 23 merit badges.

He is the son of John and Susie Forrest of Oak Park.
