A thief took a $200 cellphone from an unlocked car at a Chevron gas station in the 5000 block of Kanan Road June 12.
Someone stole a $2,000 laptop computer from a car parked near Chesebro Canyon Park. A window costing $300 was shattered during the June 11 incident.
A $5,000 metallic filing cabinet containing several Century 21 signs was stolen from a business in the 5600 block of Kanan Road June 10.
A person reported that vandals caused $2,000 in property damage on June 9 by smashing eggs into a home in the 6000 block of Macadam Court.
A thief stole a $200 navigation device and $25 in cash from an unlocked car parked in the 28600 block of Eagleton Street on June 8.

A resident notified authorities that he saw three males jumping the side fence of his neighbor’s backyard in the 26800 block of Cold Spring Street June 10. One block away, sheriff’s deputies apprehended three males who fit the description. Nothing was reported stolen, however.
A burglar broke car windows to steal a $150 iPod and other items valued at about $300 on June 8 in the 26900 block of Mulholland Highway. The windows were $600.
A thief stole a purse containing a $100 iPod from a car parked in the 5300 block of Ambridge Drive June 9. The culprit caused $500 in damage to get into the vehicle.
A thief stole a $ 50 purse containing a $150 wallet, $400 iPhone, $200 digital camera and a set of car keys from a home in the 22400 block of Liberty Bell Road June 11. The theft occurred at a party.
A person stole a $200 cellphone and a purse containing a wallet with bank cards and a driver’s license from a car parked on Mulholland Highway, about a mile west of Las Virgenes Road. The culprit shattered a $200 window to get into the car.

Two cable boxes worth $900 and a cable modem worth $200 were reported stolen from a home in the 24500 block of Park Granada between March 25 and May 23. The incident occurred while the home was being remodeled.

Westlake Village
A thief stole $280 from the purse of a patron at the Regency Theatres on Lakeview Canyon Road June 8.
A business owner in the 5700 block of Lindero Canyon Road reported June 3 that an employee was tricked into providing $90 worth of change in exchange for a $10 bill. The culprit had asked the employee, who was serving other customers, to change a $100 bill into smaller denominations. But he offered a $10 bill, instead of a $100, for the transaction.
