Someone stole a $150 mailbox from the front of a home in the 5800 block of Lake Lindero Drive May 21.

A burglar stole $2,800 worth of jewelry from a home on Patrick Henry Place May 17. The incident occurred after the culprit, who had a passenger in a car parked nearby, rang the doorbell and asked the resident if she wanted her grass cut.

Calabasas

A burglar stole a $600 CD player and two television screens worth $500 from a car parked in the 5800 block of Belbert Circle May 24.

A $1,000 Gucci purse containing an $800 wallet and credit cards was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 3700 block of Via Halcon May 21.

A Calabasas High student alerted the cafeteria that he received a counterfeit $5 bill during a transaction. He returned the item to a cafeteria worker, who indicated the bill came from another student who reportedly obtained it in a transaction at a Michaels arts and crafts store on May 20.

Someone stole a purse containing prescription eyeglasses, a camera and a driver’s license from a car parked near Mulholland Highway and Las Virgenes Road May 20. The items were valued at about $260. The culprit shattered two windows worth $200 each to get into the car.

Someone shattered an $800 window at a home in the 4100 block of Old Topanga Canyon Road May 18.

A thief stole $1,000 in cash and about $300 worth of jewelry and other items from a home in the 2300 block of DeGrasse Avenue May 18.

A person stole a $300 purse containing a $120 wallet with $40 in cash and bank cards from a car parked on Mulholland Highway May 18. The culprits also stole a $450 pair of sunglasses and caused $200 in damage shattering a window to get into the car.

A burglar stole a $200 iPod and $50 electric razor from a car parked in the 39400 block of Ceanothus Place May 15.

Oak Park

An act of vandalism to a trail near Bayport Way and Ochorios Way occurred between April 25 and 26.

A burglary, vandalism and trespassing occurred May 17 in the 300 block of Savoy Court.

A vandal caused more than $400 in damage to a vehicle at Orchorios Way and Bayport Way between May 17 and 18.

Petty thefts occurred May 18 in the 700 block of Deer Run Lane, May 21 in the 400 block of Park Springs Court, and between May 20 and 21 in the 200 block of St. Croix Court.

An 18- year- old man was arrested May 26 for forgery and traffic violations after leading police on a pursuit which ended in the suspect crashing his car into a parked vehicle. The man was arrested on Heatherview Drive and Deerhill Road.

A man, 46, was arrested May 25 for making criminal threats and obstructing a police officer in the 5900 block of East Conifer Street.

Property worth more than $950 was taken between May 25 and 26 from a vehicle in the 6000 block of Alexandria Court

A burglar stole $60 in cash and a set of keys from a home in the 100 block of Merry Oak Lane May 20.
