Two local students received Schubert Honors Scholarships and Founders Scholarships following a recent academic scholarship competition at Ohio Wesleyan University.

The recipients are Saige Bell of Newbury Park, a senior at Oak Park High School, and Ross Eckley of Westlake Village, a senior at Westlake High School.

The students have been accepted into Ohio Wesleyan’s Leland F. and Helen Schubert Honors Program. These honors students are eligible for possible induction into the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society.

Ohio Wesleyan University is in Delaware, Ohio.
