Brookside student wins state contest


A TOP PHOTOGRAPHER—Olivia Winck, 10, a fifth-grade student at Brookside Elementary School in Oak Park, displays her winning photo after receiving an Award of Excellence for her picture at the district level. Her entry moved on to a state-level competition. Olivia’s entry was one of 64,000 submitted and she was one of four finalists to receive an award at the state level.
